@ 1049 The Mercy of Allah to Zachariah 21:89-90

21:89 And Zachariah when he called to his Lord saying, 'Lord, do not let me remain by myself; You are the Best of inheritors.'
# وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لاَ تَذَرْنِي فَرْداً وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الوَارِثِينَ 89
21:90 So We answered him, and gave him John, curing his wife (of sterility). They raced with each other in good works and called on Us out of yearning and awe, and they were humble to Us.
# فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَى وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونُ فِي الخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَباً وَرَهَباً وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ 90
